boutique is a small shopping outlet, especially one that specializes in elite and fashionable items such as clothing and jewellery. The word is French for "shop", via Latin from Greek ἀποθήκη (apothēkē), "storehouse".[1][2]
The term entered into everyday English use in the late 1960s when, for a brief period, Londonwas the centre of the fashion trade. Carnaby Street and the Kings Road were the focus of much media attention as home to the most fashionable boutiques of the era.
It can also refer to a specialised firm such as a boutique investment bank or boutique law firm. The word is often used to describe a property in the independent section of the hotel market (such as The Rockwell in London) in order to distinguish themselves from larger chains (such as Hilton Hotels). In such cases the establishments aim to convey the idea that the operation is elite and highly specialised.
In the strictest sense of the word, boutiques would be one-of-a-kind but more generally speaking, some chains can be referred to as boutiques if they specialize in particularly stylish[original research?] offerings (such as New York City boutique shoe store Alife Rivington Club).
Recently, the term "boutique" has started being applied to normally-mass-market items that are either niche or produced in intentionally small numbers at very high prices. This may be referred to as boutique manufacturing. For example, before the release of the Wii, aTime Magazine article suggested that Nintendo could become a "boutique video-game company", producing games for niche audiences, rather than trying to compete directly with Microsoft and Sony.[3]
In the traditional luxury-watch industry Scalfaro International is considered as the precursor in manufacturing and sale of bespoke watches. The Swiss company uses a highly flexible boutique manufacturing site, which allows producing small series or even unique timepieces.
Although some boutiques specialise in hand-made items and other truly one-of-a-kind items, others simply produce t-shirts, stickers, and other fashion accessories in artificially small runs and sell them at unusually high prices. In the early 1990s Selena started manufacturing her own line of women's clothing. Opening two boutiques labeled as "Selena Etc. Boutique & Salon" One located in Corpus Christi and one located in San Antonio, Texas. One was due to open in Monterrey, Mexico in 1995 but due to her death it was not opened. As of 2011 only the Corpus Christi Boutique is still open.
In late 1990s some European retail traders developed the idea of tailoring a shop towards a lifestyle theme, in the form of "concept stores",[4][5] which specialised in cross-selling without using separate departments. One of the first[when?] concept stores was 10 Corso Como[6] in Milan, Italy followed by Colette[7] in Paris and Quartier 206[8][9] in Berlin. Several well-known American chains such as Urban Outfitters[10][11]D-A-S-H, and The Gap[12], Australian chain Billabong and, though less common, Lord & Taylor adapted to the concept store trend after 2000.

Sino Nga Ba Sya

Di ko inisip na mawawala ka pa
Akala ko’y panghabang-buhay na kapiling ka
Lahat na yata ‘binigay para sa ‘yo
Ngunit parang may pagkukulang pa ako
Sino nga ba s’ya sa puso mo
At kaya mong saktan ang tulad ko
Gayong lahat-lahat ng akin
At pag-ibig ay ‘binigay sa’yo
Sino nga ba siya’t iniwan mo
Iniwan mong bigo ang tulad ko
May pagkukulang ba ako’t
May pagkukulang ba ako’t
Nagagawang saktan ang puso ko
ooohhh…
Sino nga ba s’ya sa puso mo
At kaya mong saktan ang tulad ko
Gayong lahat-lahat ng akin
At pag-ibig ay ‘binigay sa’yo
Sino nga ba siya’t iniwan mo
Liniwan mong bigo ang tulad ko
May pagkukulang ba ako’t
Nagagawang saktan ang puso ko

I Still Believe In Loving You

Just when I thought our love was here to stay
Just when I thought you'll never ever go away
You said it's time for you to go
But I'm not sure I really know
Why you are leaving

And when we finally say our last goodbye
I'll never make it hard for you
You won't even see me cry
And though there's tears inside of me
I'm gonna let your heart go free
Before you leave
There's just one thing
That I want you to know

Chorus:
I still believe in loving you
Inspite of all the hurts that I'm going through
Even if again and again you'd break my heart
Lyrics www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/sarah_geronimo/
One thing would never change
I still believe in loving you

If you would tell me that you'll be alright
I'll never let you see me blue
But I'll keep our love alive
And though I'm feeling incomplete
I guess that this is what you need
Before you leave
There's just one thing
That I want you to know

Repeat Chorus

Can This Be Love

Can this be love?
I’m feelin right now
I know for certain I’m feelin right now
I don’t recall ever feeling this way
Tell me what does one say
The one who makes me feel this way

Can this be love?
I’m feelin right now
I am not sure of this feelin somehow
Why do I tremble whenever you’re near?
I can’t seem to say
My words so you’ll hear

This is the first time
I’m gonna say I love you
It’s the first time
I ever felt so helpless deep inside
If I had to say a thousand times
Lyrics www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/sarah_geronimo/
I tell you once again
This is the first time
I’m gonna say I love you

Can this be love?
I’m feelin right now
I love the feelin it’s giving me now
Voice inside me is guiding me now
Is telling me now
To take your hand and say

This is the first time
I’m gonna say I love you
It’s the first time
I ever felt so helpless deep inside
If I had to say a thousand times
I tell you once again
This is the first time
I’m gonna say I love you

This is the first time
I’m gonna say I love you
It’s the first time
I ever felt so helpless deep inside
If I had to say a thousand times
I tell you once again
This is the first time
This is the first time
It’s the first time

"love..love..love..quote...

*Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.

*To love someone is to wish him life; to hate someone is to desire his death.

*He who wants to do good, knocks at the gate; he who loves finds the gates open.

*Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love.
Everything is, everything exists, only because I love.

*Love took up the glass of Time, and turned it in his glowing hands; Every moment, lightly shaken, ran itself in golden sands.
Love took up the harp of Life, and smote on all the chords with might; Smote the chord of Self, that, trembling, passed in music out of sight.

*It does not matter what you do in the bedroom as long as you do not do it in the street and frighten the horses.

*I am in love – and, my God, it is the greatest thing that can happen to a man. I tell you, find a woman you can fall in love with. Do it. Let yourself fall in love. If you have not done so already, you are wasting your life.

*Love comes to those who still hope, even though they’ve been disappointed, to those who still love even though they’ve been hurt before..

*The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.

"Happy Love Quotes"

Posted by bigcas.misheyl on 12:07 AM
Have you ever noticed that when you are in love, you always go around with a smile on your face? Indeed, love brings immense happiness to the lives of those who are experiencing it. The following happy love quotes talk about the bliss that those in love experience.
Love and magic have a great deal in common. They enrich the soul, delight the heart. And they both take practice.

The day will come when, after harnessing the winds, the tides and gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.

Love is everything it is cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it... It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.
I like not only to be loved, but to be told that I am loved.

The life and love we create is the life and love we live.

Love is a choice you make from moment to moment.

Woe to the man whose heart has not learned while young to hope, to love - and to put its trust in life.

Love transforms; it simultaneously makes us larger and limits our possibilities. It changes our history even as it breaks a new path through the present.

The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart.

Love is the only passion which includes in it's dreams the happiness of someone else.

Love is most nearly itself when here and now cease to matter.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart

ECONOMIC PROBLEMS OF THE PHILIPPINES

Posted by bigcas.misheyl on 12:33 AM
Economic problem of the philippines are very similar to those being battled by other undeveloped and developing nations. After a long tryst with colonization, the nation is now grappling with increase imports and a mixed economy that is still to stabilize......

MAJOR ECONOMIC PROBLEMS OF THE PHILIPPINES

IMPORT-EXPORT IMBALANCE. among the many economic problems faced by the philippines, one is the imbalance of imports and exports. The negative trade is heavy and only  counterbalanced by the service account surplus.Over the last two decades, philippine export have shifted from commodity-based product to manufactured goods. However, in the midst of the current global ECONOMIC RECESSION,the export of electronics, garment and textiles are yet to reach a level of import neutralization.

Decline of the Philippine Peso: The economic downturn has resulted in the devaluation of the Philippine peso and subsequently, a fall in the stock market. The fiscal conservatism strategy adopted by the Philippine government has yet to reflect a positive effect on acceleration of economic growth. 6% growth in the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2004 and 7.3% in 2007 has yet to accelerate to the linear GDP growth projected by the government.

Reliance on Remittances: President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has pledged complete development of the economy by the year 2020. There have been a number of tax reforms put in place, alongside extensive asset privatization. Nevertheless, Philippines' dependency on remittances from non-resident investors is large. Neighboring competitors have been siphoning away big investors in infrastructure and outsourcing. This has resulted in an uneven regional development.

These are just some of the economic challenges looming large over the Philippines. The government is taking extensive steps to ensure even distribution of economic growth within the nation, by promoting overseas and home-bound investments in the Philippine Islands. The country is facing significant decline in industrial production, gross domestic product, income and employment and sales. Nevertheless, the crossover from import substitution to promotion of exports are slowly adding quality to various fiscal incentives. The abolishing of export taxes and liberalization of foreign investment laws have helped equalize trade deficit to a considerable extent.
